Serv-Ware SHPS-24 24" Countertop Hot Plate with 4 Burners, 100,000 BTU, Cast Iron Grates

The Serv-Ware SHPS-24 gives you four burners on a countertop, no oven needed. That makes it a smart choice for kitchens that cook mostly on the stovetop, such as Chinese, Thai and Indian restaurants, catering commissaries and ghost kitchens, or for adding burner capacity on an equipment stand next to your existing range.

Four octagonal burners each deliver 25,000 BTU/hr, 100,000 BTU/hr in total, beneath heavy-duty cast iron grates. Footprint is 24" wide by 27-1/4" deep, and the unit stands 11-1/4" high.

What you will notice in day-to-day use

• Four pots at once. Two rows of burners handle stock, sauce and sauté pans side by side.
• Heat where the pan sits. Octagonal burners and cast iron grates spread heat evenly across the pan bottom.
• Safer to work against. The front edge stays cool to the touch.
• Quick wipe-down. A full-length seamless drip pan pulls out for cleaning.
• Front access. Adjustable pilots and service access are at the front, so the unit rarely needs to move.

Choosing your setup

Gas type: the SHPS-24 ships for natural gas with an LP conversion kit and regulator included, so a qualified installer can convert it to propane on site. Supply pressure is 4" W.C. for natural gas and 10" W.C. for LP.

• Gas: 3/4" gas line; have a qualified installer connect it and convert it if you run propane.
• Counter: place it on a sturdy, non-combustible counter or equipment stand rated for the weight.
• Ventilation: install under a commercial hood following your local code.

Warranty

1 year parts and labor on the entire unit from Serv-Ware, counted from the installation date (up to 18 months from shipment), for commercial use in the United States. Labor must be performed by a qualified gas appliance service company approved by Serv-Ware.
