Need a grill you can roll out to the patio for brunch, over to the pool for the afternoon and back under cover at close? The MagiKitch'n MagiCater LPAGA30S is a 30-inch outdoor charbroiler on a stainless stand with four swivel casters, built for caterers, hotels, clubs and restaurants that cook outside but want to move the station around. It is for outdoor use only and made in the USA.

Four 20,000 BTU/hr steel burners, set every 7 inches, give you 80,000 BTU/hr (23.44 kW) in total over a 29" x 24" broiling area. Individually operated valves, stainless steel radiants and a crossover pilot tube system come standard.

What you will notice in day-to-day use

• Easy to reposition. Four swivel casters, two of them locking, make it simple to steer the grill into place and keep it there once service starts.
• Grill, roast or smoke. The 30" smoke & roast roll-top hood closes over the grate for roasting and holding, not just open-flame grilling.
• Ready for the weather. An all-stainless exterior and included all-weather covers protect the unit between events.
• Self-contained on propane. A propane tank caddy rides with the grill, so the LP version can set up wherever the party is.
• Quick cleanup. Slide-removable water/grease pans pull out from the side, and the 8" front work deck gives your cook a place to plate.

Choosing your setup

Gas type: choose natural gas or liquid propane above. The LP version runs from a 40 lb. LP tank carried in the caddy (additional tanks are available); the natural gas version connects to your building supply through the pressure regulator. Large casters, stainless undershelves, an 11" griddle plate, a 15" steamer system and 30" wind/splash guards are available as options.

Before it arrives

• Outdoor only: use it in the open air, never under a canopy, hood or other covering, and keep combustibles out of the storage area underneath.
• Natural gas hookup: because it sits on casters, connect it with a flexible commercial gas hose with quick disconnect and a restraint cable, plus a manual shut-off valve, installed by a qualified technician.
• LP setup: have the tank connection checked for leaks before first use and keep the regulator accessible from the front.
• Delivery: ships at about 300 lb in a carton around 49" x 44" x 42"; plan for a liftgate.
