Building an outdoor kitchen for a patio restaurant, rooftop bar, resort pool deck or country club terrace? The MagiKitch'n MagiCater LPAGA30B is a 30-inch charbroiler made to drop into a masonry or stone island, so you get real restaurant-grade grilling outside without a cart sitting in the middle of your guest area. It is built for outdoor use only and is made in the USA.

Four 20,000 BTU/hr steel burners, one every 7 inches, deliver 80,000 BTU/hr in total (about 23.44 kW) under a 29" x 24" broiling area. Each burner has its own control valve, stainless steel radiants spread the heat, and a crossover pilot tube system carries the flame from burner to burner for safer lighting.

What you will notice in day-to-day use

• Zone cooking outdoors. Individually operated valves let you run full heat for steaks on one side and a gentler zone for vegetables or holding on the other.
• More than a grill. A smoke & roast roll-top hood lets you close the lid to roast or add smoke flavor, and an optional 15" steamer system and 11" removable griddle plate stretch the menu further.
• Grates that last. Heavy-duty, nickel-chrome-plated top grates stand up to constant scraping and the weather.
• Easy grease cleanup. Front-removable water/grease pans slide out from the front of the island, so nobody has to reach behind the enclosure.
• Prep space up front. An 8" stainless steel front-mounted work deck gives your grill cook a landing spot for plates, tongs and seasoning.

Choosing your setup

Gas type: choose natural gas or liquid propane above. The natural gas version comes with a pressure regulator and connects to your building gas line; the LP version runs from a 40 lb. LP tank (additional tanks are available as an accessory). A gas manifold on the left or right side is available as an option for this 30" built-in.

Before it arrives

• Enclosure: build the island from non-combustible materials only, with a recessed cutout of 31-1/2" W x 34" D x 16" H, and do not store combustibles under or around the grill.
• Outdoor only: do not install it under a canopy, hood or other covering.
• Gas: a qualified installer must fit the supplied 3/4" NPT gas regulator before first use, keep the regulator accessible from the front, and add a manual shut-off valve on the gas supply.
• Delivery: ships at about 300 lb in a carton roughly 44" x 49" x 42", so plan for a liftgate and a few hands.
