The MagiKitch'n APM-RMB-672CR is the cast iron radiant version of the 72" low profile charbroiler, made for kitchens that grill all day and want heavy, long-lasting radiants under the grid. Steakhouses, Latin and Mediterranean grills and busy burger operations will appreciate a full six-foot broiling line that still sits low enough to mount on a work table or an insulated refrigerated base.
Its 16 stainless steel burners have a combined input of 240,000 BTU/hr across a 1,704 square inch cooking area. Each burner has its own front control, so you can run the whole line wide open for a dinner rush or shut down sections when it is slow.
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- Cast iron under the grid. The CR suffix means cast iron radiants in place of the standard stainless radiants, giving the grill a heavier heat-holding layer between flame and food.
- Run it your way. Sixteen individual burner controls let one cook sear, mark and hold on a single 72" surface.
- A grid that will not warp. Free floating 1/2" steel rods move as they heat and cool, and the E-Z Tilt grid drains grease forward into the trough.
- Cooler, safer surroundings. The double walled, fully insulated cabinet is wrapped in stainless steel on all four sides.
- Practical extras included. A 6" stainless service shelf with towel bar, three crumb trays and a top grid scraper come standard.
Choosing your setup
Gas type: this charbroiler is offered for natural gas or liquid propane (LP); choose the gas your kitchen uses above. The 240,000 BTU/hr rating is the total input. A 3/4" gas regulator ships unattached and must be installed on the supply before the gas line is connected. Supply and burner pressures are below.
| Gas | Supply pressure | Burner pressure |
|---|---|---|
| Natural gas | 7–10" W.C. | 4" W.C. |
| Liquid propane | 11–13" W.C. | 10" W.C. |
The APM series also comes in 24" to 72" widths, radiant or ceramic coal, and in high-output (-H) versions.

Before it arrives
- Gas: have a qualified installer fit the supplied 3/4" regulator, then connect to the 3/4" NPT inlet. Size the supply line to hold burner pressure with every gas appliance on the line running.
- Ventilation: install under a commercial hood following local code; do not block the flue or place hood drains over it.
- Clearance: keep 6" at the sides, 8" at the rear and 4" at the floor from combustible materials (0" sides and rear to non-combustible), and allow a 30" aisle in front. Indoor use only.
- Delivery: ships crated at about 1050 lb (36" x 48" x 84" H x W x L), so plan for a liftgate or dock and enough hands to set it in place.
