Wine glasses on the bar, pans from the line and plates from a full dining room can all go through the Jackson TempStar. It is a high temperature door-type dishwasher made for busy restaurants, casinos, banquet kitchens and bars. It fills the gap between an undercounter unit and a conveyor.
On the normal cycle it washes up to 63 racks per hour (58 at NSF-rated load time). That is roughly 1,575 dishes or 2,268 glasses an hour, using 0.89 gallons of water per rack. Each normal cycle takes 57 seconds. A built-in 70°F rise booster brings the final rinse to 180°F, and there is 17-1/4" of clearance inside.
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- Starts when the door closes. Closing the door begins the cycle, keeping the line moving at peak service.
- Four cycles for four kinds of mess. Choose Normal, Medium, Heavy or Extra Heavy to match the load.
- Sheet trays fit. The 17-1/4" door opening takes 18" trays and standard 20" x 20" racks.
- Every rinse is hot enough. The Sani-Sure™ final rinse system makes sure the rinse temperature is reached on every cycle.
- No detergent left in the rinse. The self-draining stainless pump keeps wash water out of the final rinse.
- Adapts if your kitchen changes. It converts between straight-through and corner layouts, and between three-phase and single-phase power, with a kit.

Before it arrives
- Have a licensed electrician run a dedicated circuit. Single-point connections make hookup simpler.
- Supply 110°F water at 10 PSI. Jackson recommends a tank-type water heater rather than a tankless one.
- Check your local code for ventilation. A built-in control turns the vent fan off when the machine is idle.
- Leave 4" behind the unit and allow for 76" of height with the door raised. The crated machine weighs 263 lb.
