If your building already produces 180°F water, the Jackson TempStar HH-E W/O gives you the tall chamber and dual rating of the HH-E without a built-in booster heater. Hospitals, hotels, casinos and large restaurant kitchens with central booster systems get pot-washing capacity and dish capacity in one door-type machine.
Expect up to 60 racks per hour (55 at NSF-rated load time), roughly 1,500 dishes or 2,160 glasses an hour, using 0.78 gallons of water per rack. A normal cycle lasts 60 seconds. The 180°F final rinse comes directly from your incoming hot water, and the chamber stands 27" tall inside.
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- Much smaller electrical demand. Without the booster, the total load at 208V single-phase is 30.9 A instead of 81.4 A on the booster model.
- Big items go in the machine. Large sheet pans and 60-quart mixing bowls fit in the 27" chamber.
- Certified as a pot washer too. It meets NSF/ANSI 3 as both a dishwasher and a pot, pan and utensil washer.
- Strong, even coverage. A 2 HP stainless steel pump drives counter-rotating lower wash arms and an upper arm.
- Fits lower rooms. Split doors let the tall machine work where ceiling height is limited.
- Straight-through or corner. A kit converts the layout either way if your dish room changes.
Choosing your setup
Electrical: pick the voltage and phase above that fit your service. The figures below are Jackson's ratings for the no-booster machine, and 460V is listed as a factory option.
| Electrical service | Total load | Min. circuit ampacity | Max. overcurrent protection |
|---|---|---|---|
| 208V / 1-Phase | 30.9 A | 33.7 A | 40.0 A |
| 208V / 3-Phase | 22.6 A | 25.4 A | 35.0 A |
| 230V / 1-Phase | 33.0 A | 35.8 A | 50.0 A |
| 230V / 3-Phase | 23.8 A | 26.6 A | 35.0 A |

Before it arrives
- Ask a licensed electrician to run a dedicated circuit sized from the table above.
- Your hot water must reach the machine at 180°F and 20 PSI (± 5). Jackson recommends a tank-type water heater over a tankless one.
- Allow 86-3/4" of height for the open door and 4" behind the unit. Check local code for ventilation.
- The machine ships at 393 lb in a crate 82-5/8" tall.
