Some kitchens have neither a hood nor room for dishtables. The Jackson TempStar FL-VER was made for exactly that: a front-loading door-type dishwasher with ventless energy recovery that hooks up to a cold water line, a circuit and a drain. Restaurants, bars and casino outlets can fit hot-water sanitizing where a conventional machine never could.
It cleans up to 41 racks per hour (30 at the NSF load time for front-opening machines), or about 1,025 dishes or 1,476 glasses an hour, using 0.89 gallons per rack. The normal cycle is 87 seconds, including a 30-second vent stage. A built-in 70°F rise booster with Sani-Sure™ brings the final rinse to 180°F, and the chamber clears 15-5/8".
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- No hood and no tables. Front loading and a ventless design mean the machine stands on its own in a 26-3/8" wide footprint.
- Cold water only. The energy recovery system lets it take incoming water anywhere from 40°F to 90°F.
- Locked while it works. A door interlock holds the door closed until the cycle ends.
- Four timed cycles. Normal runs 87 seconds, and the longest setting gives heavily soiled wares 327 seconds.
- Rinse water stays clean. The self-draining stainless steel pump stops detergent from carrying over into the final rinse.
- Room to change your mind. A kit converts it between three-phase and single-phase power.
