Short on floor space but outgrowing an undercounter machine? The Jackson TempStar FL loads from the front like a cabinet, so it needs no dishtables on either side. It brings door-type output to tight kitchens, bars and casino outlets where a straight-through layout will not fit.
On the normal cycle it handles up to 63 racks per hour (41 at the NSF load time used for front-opening machines), or about 1,575 dishes or 2,268 glasses an hour, at 0.89 gallons of water per rack. A normal cycle takes 57 seconds. A built-in 70°F rise booster with the Sani-Sure™ system delivers a 180°F final rinse, and the chamber gives you 15-5/8" of clearance.
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- No dishtables to buy or fit. The whole machine sits in a 26-3/8" wide by 28" deep footprint.
- Closing the door starts the wash. Door-actuated start and automatic tank fill keep things moving with no extra steps.
- A cycle for every load. Four timed cycles run from 57 seconds for light loads to 297 seconds for the worst of the pots.
- Hot rinse, every time. Sani-Sure™ checks that the final rinse reaches the right temperature before the cycle is finished.
- No detergent carryover. The self-draining stainless steel pump keeps wash water out of the final rinse.
- Simple to look after. Interchangeable wash/rinse arms, a large scrap basket and a delime mode keep upkeep easy.
Choosing your setup
Electrical: match the voltage and phase above to your service. The machine converts between three-phase and single-phase with a kit, and a 460V version is listed as a factory option.
| Electrical service | Total load | Min. circuit ampacity | Max. overcurrent protection |
|---|---|---|---|
| 208V / 1-Phase | 75.2 A | 76.5 A | 80.0 A |
| 208V / 3-Phase | 45.6 A | 46.8 A | 50.0 A |
| 230V / 1-Phase | 82.7 A | 83.9 A | 85.0 A |
| 230V / 3-Phase | 49.9 A | 51.2 A | 55.0 A |

Before it arrives
- Book a licensed electrician for a dedicated circuit; single-point connections keep the hookup simple.
- Supply 110°F water at 10 PSI. Jackson recommends a tank-type water heater rather than a tankless unit.
- Check local code for ventilation. A vent fan control turns the fan off when the machine is idle.
- Leave 4" behind the machine and 47-5/8" of depth so the door can open fully. The crated unit weighs 274 lb.
What's included
- Front stainless steel dress panel
- Adjustable bullet feet with rear flanged feet
