If your building already runs a steam plant, the Jackson RackStar 66CS lets that steam heat the wash tank instead of electricity. It is a high temperature rack conveyor with a 22" pre-wash ahead of a 44" wash tank, sized for hospitals, correctional facilities and large institutional kitchens.
The RackStar 66 is rated for 224 racks per hour, using 0.38 gallons per rack on Econo rinse or 0.65 on Turbo. On this steam version, a steam booster heater feeds 180°F water to the final rinse through a 3/4" NPT steam connection. Chamber clearance is 19-3/4", or 25" with the high hood.
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- Puts existing steam to use. Steam tank heat can cut electrical demand where a central boiler is already running.
- Heavy soil handled first. Three upper and one lower arm in the 22" pre-wash clear debris before the main wash.
- Adjustable rinse. Use Econo for routine loads and Turbo when ware needs a heavier rinse.
- Even coverage, rack after rack. Self-cleaning WISR® wash arms work with an arched Rainbow Rinse™ arm.
- Built for long days. Insulated hinged doors, stainless strainer pans, a delime cycle and EnergyGuard™ idle controls keep it efficient and serviceable.
Choosing your setup
Electrical: the steam model still needs power for its pumps and controls. Select the voltage and phase above that match your service; 460V is listed as a factory option. Amperage figures were not in the Jackson data we had, so have your electrician size circuits from the installation documents.
Steam booster: the 180°F rinse water comes from a steam booster heater, which Jackson lists as an option, so plan for it with your order.
Direction: the conveyor runs left-to-right or right-to-left as you face it. Choose the direction above that matches the flow from your soiled table to your clean table.

Before it arrives
- Have a licensed electrician provide a dedicated circuit.
- Your mechanical contractor will need to pipe steam to the 3/4" connection and set up the steam booster for 180°F water.
- Keep the 1-1/2" drain full size with an air gap, plan exhaust to the vent connections, and check the delivery route for an 86" wide machine.
