High-volume dish rooms in schools, hospitals, hotels and large restaurants need a conveyor that keeps racks moving without running up the water bill. The Jackson RackStar 44CE is a 44" high temperature rack conveyor with electric tank heat and a built-in booster heater, designed to get wares clean on the first pass.
It moves up to 224 racks per hour. The adjustable rinse uses 0.38 gallons per rack in Econo mode (about 85 gallons an hour) or 0.65 gallons in Turbo mode. A built-in 24 kW booster gives a 70°F rise for high temperature sanitizing from 110°F incoming water. Standard chamber clearance is 19-3/4", with a 25" taller chamber available.
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- Less water per rack. The Rainbow Rinse™ with arched rinse arms and the Econo setting keep water use to 0.38 gallons per rack.
- Wash arms that clean themselves. The WISR® cleaning system uses self-cleaning wash arms, so less time goes into scrubbing parts at closing.
- A cooler dish room. Double-wall insulated doors hold heat in the tank, and the vent fan shuts off when the machine sits idle.
- Easy to reach inside. Hinged doors open wide at the front, and the strainer pans and splash shields are stainless steel.
- Stops when the table is full. A strike plate table limit switch halts the conveyor before clean racks pile up.
Choosing your setup
Electrical: pick the voltage and phase above that match your service. The standard hookup is dual point, with a separate connection for the booster; a single point connection with the onboard booster is available as an option. 460V is listed as a factory option. Circuit ratings were not part of the data we received, so we will confirm them for your voltage before you wire.
Direction: the conveyor is built to run left-to-right or right-to-left as you face the machine. Choose the direction that matches the flow of your dish room above.

Before it arrives
- Book a licensed electrician for dedicated circuits: the standard setup has one feed for the machine and a second for the booster.
- Supply 110°F or hotter water through a 1/2" line. The 1-1/2" drain line must not be reduced, should pitch 1/4" per foot and needs an air gap above the floor drain or sink.
- Plan ventilation to local code; the machine has vent connections with dampers and adjustable vent cowl collars.
- Leave 4" behind the machine and line up your dish tables with the 33-1/4" table height.
