Jackson RackStar 44CE Energy Recovery High Temp Conveyor Dishwasher, 224 Racks/Hr, Exhaust Heat Recovery
Most conveyors send their hot exhaust straight up the hood. The Jackson RackStar 44CE Energy Recovery captures that heat and uses it to warm cold incoming water before it reaches the built-in booster. It is a 44" high temperature rack conveyor for hospitals, schools and large restaurants that run the dish room for hours and want a smaller utility bill.
It is rated for up to 224 racks per hour (5,600 dishes or 8,064 glasses). Econo rinse uses 0.38 gallons per rack and Turbo uses 0.65. A built-in 24 kW booster supplies the 180°F final rinse, the wash holds 160°F minimum, and the chamber clears 19-3/4" (25" with the high hood option).
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- Waste heat becomes preheating. The energy recovery inlet takes water as cool as 55°F and warms it with captured exhaust heat, easing the load on the booster.
- Rinse water on your terms. Run Econo for everyday loads and Turbo when wares need more.
- Wash arms that stay clear. The WISR® system uses self-cleaning wash arms, paired with an arched Rainbow Rinse™ arm.
- Nothing wasted between rushes. EnergyGuard™ controls and an idle shut-off for the vent fan trim energy during slow periods.
- Easy upkeep. Wide hinged, insulated doors, stainless strainer pans, a delime cycle and a built-in pressure regulator keep care simple.
Choosing your setup
Electrical: pick the voltage and phase above that match your service. Wiring is dual-point as standard (the booster has its own feed); single-point is optional, and 460V is listed as a factory option. Amperage figures were not in the Jackson data we had, so have your electrician size circuits from the installation documents.
Direction: the conveyor runs left-to-right or right-to-left as you face it. Choose the direction above that matches the flow from your soiled table to your clean table.
