No hood, no ductwork, no problem. The Jackson DynaStar VER is a ventless high temperature door-type dishwasher that recovers its own steam, so it fits where a hooded machine cannot. Think hotel pantries, older buildings and restaurants whose dish area cannot be vented.
It is rated for up to 40 racks per hour (38 at NSF-rated load time), around 1,000 dishes or 1,440 glasses. The standard cycle runs 88 seconds, including a 30-second vent stage, and Econo rinse uses just 0.70 gallons per rack (0.89 on Turbo). A built-in 40-70°F rise booster delivers the 180°F final rinse, and the chamber clears 17-1/2".
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- Install it almost anywhere. The two-pass energy recovery system condenses steam inside the machine, so no vent hood is required.
- One cold water line. It runs on a single 40-90°F cold water connection, which keeps plumbing simple.
- No steam in the face. A door interlock keeps the door shut until the vent stage finishes.
- Compact profile. The heat exchanger is built into the body, so overall height stays at 62-3/8".
- Three cycle lengths. Pick 88, 138 or 268 seconds depending on how heavy the soil is.
- Service-friendly. An LED display, diagnostics and a delime cycle ease daily care.
Choosing your setup
Electrical: pick the voltage and phase above that match your service. The figures below are for the standard single-point connection. Dual-point wiring and 460V three-phase are factory options, and the unit converts between three-phase and single-phase with a kit.
| Electrical service | Total load | Min. circuit ampacity | Max. overcurrent protection |
|---|---|---|---|
| 208V / 1-Phase | 68.8 A | 70.1 A | 75.0 A |
| 208V / 3-Phase | 42.2 A | 43.4 A | 45.0 A |
| 230V / 1-Phase | 77.1 A | 78.4 A | 80.0 A |
| 230V / 3-Phase | 47.0 A | 48.2 A | 50.0 A |

Before it arrives
- Have a licensed electrician run a dedicated circuit sized from the table above.
- Supply cold water at 40-90°F and 15-65 PSI. The pumped rinse means a pressure regulator is only needed above 65 PSI.
- No hood is required, but confirm with your local inspector. The machine can sit tight to the rear wall; corner installs need 4-1/4" at the side.
- Plan for 75-3/4" of height with the door raised. The crated unit weighs 391 lb.
What's included
- Front and side stainless steel dress panels
- Adjustable bullet feet
