The Jackson DishStar LTH is the low temperature DishStar with one important extra: a 1,500 watt sustaining heater that helps hold wash water temperature between cycles. It sanitizes with chemicals and runs on 115V, so it works well for small restaurants, coffee shops and bars that want steadier wash temperatures without a booster heater or heavy wiring.
Each 2-minute normal cycle supports up to 30 racks per hour (24 at NSF-rated load time), enough for about 750 dishes or 1,080 glasses an hour. It uses 1.16 gallons of water per rack. Sanitizing is chemical, with a 120°F minimum wash and rinse temperature (140°F recommended), and the chamber clears 14-1/4".
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- Steadier wash temperature. The 1.5 kW sustaining heater helps keep water warm between cycles, which is the main difference from the standard LT.
- Standard 115V power. A dedicated 115V single-phase circuit with a 20 A maximum breaker is all it needs, with no booster heater to wire.
- Chemical levels at a glance. Low-chemical indicator lights tell staff when detergent or rinse aid is running low, and the built-in pumps have priming switches.
- Every rack starts fresh. The fill-and-dump design and fresh water rinse stop wash water from carrying over into the rinse.
- Simple and quiet. Automatic fill, push button start, a pumped drain and a double-wall cabinet make it easy to live with day to day.
Choosing your setup
The LTH comes in a single 115V single-phase configuration. Jackson rates it at 10.0 A total load with a minimum circuit ampacity of 16.25 A and a maximum overcurrent protection of 20.0 A.

Before it arrives
- Ask a licensed electrician to provide a dedicated 115V circuit sized for 16.25 A minimum ampacity and no more than 20 A protection.
- Plumb in hot water at 120°F or above (140°F recommended) at 20 ± 5 PSI, and send the drain hose to a 1-1/2" minimum drain with an air gap.
- Keep sanitizer, detergent and rinse aid on hand for the built-in chemical pumps.
- A vent hood is not recommended, but local code has the final say. Use moisture-resistant surfaces around the unit, since some steam can escape from the door.
