If your dishwashing happens behind the bar or under a coffee counter, the Jackson DishStar HT-E fits there without taking over. This compact undercounter machine sanitizes with a hot final rinse, and it suits coffee shops, bars, quick service restaurants, convenience stores, day care centers and small healthcare kitchens.
On its normal cycle it handles up to 36 racks per hour (27 at NSF-rated load time). That works out to about 900 dishes or 1,296 glasses an hour, using just 0.60 gallons of water per rack. A normal cycle takes 1 minute 40 seconds. A built-in booster raises incoming water by 70°F for a 180°F final rinse, and the chamber has 14-1/4" of clearance.
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- Staff can run it without training. Load the rack, close the door and press start. The tank fills by itself and the drain pumps out on its own.
- Sanitizing you can trust. The Sani-Sure™ final rinse system makes sure the rinse water is hot enough on every cycle, and the digital LED display shows the temperature.
- Three cycles for different loads. Use Normal for everyday wares. Heavy and Extra Heavy give baked-on plates more time.
- Small water and energy bills. The machine is ENERGY STAR® certified and has an Energy Saver Mode for slow stretches.
- Quiet, cool to the touch. A double-wall cabinet holds the heat in and keeps the noise down.
- Chemicals are handled for you. Detergent and rinse aid pumps are built in, plus a delime cycle.

Before it arrives
- Have a licensed electrician set up a dedicated circuit sized from the table above.
- Supply water at 110°F or hotter and 10 PSI. Jackson recommends a tank-type water heater, not a tankless one. The drain hose goes to a 1-1/2" minimum drain with an air gap.
- A vent hood is not recommended, but check your local code. Some steam escapes from the door, so moisture-resistant surfaces next to the machine are a good idea.
What's included
- One peg rack and one combination rack
