For a high-volume dish room that runs on chemical sanitizing, the Jackson AJX-66CEL brings a 22" pre-wash and conveyor capacity without a booster heater. Everything runs at 140°F, which makes it a practical choice for schools, nursing care facilities and correctional kitchens working with limited hot water or electrical service.
Jackson rates it for 209 racks per hour (5,225 dishes or 7,524 glasses) at a top conveyor speed of 5.75 feet per minute. It uses 0.78 gallons per rack, about 163 gallons an hour. The pre-wash runs at 110-140°F, and the wash and chemical sanitizing rinse at 140°F minimum. Chamber clearance is a generous 25".
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- Scrapes before it washes. Two upper and one lower arm in the 22" pre-wash, driven by their own 1.0 HP pump, loosen heavy soil early.
- No booster to buy or wire. Chemical sanitizing at 140°F means no booster heater.
- Handles bulky pieces. Sheet pans and mixing bowls clear the 25" chamber.
- Adjustable for the mess. Adjust-A-Peak™ lets you slow the conveyor for longer wash and rinse contact.
- Uses less chemical. EnergyGuard™ controls operate the machine only when a rack is being washed or rinsed, cutting idle energy and chemical use.
Choosing your setup
Electrical: pick the voltage and phase above that match your service; 460V is listed as a factory option. Amperage figures were not in the Jackson data we had, so have your electrician size the circuit from the installation documents.
Direction: the conveyor runs left-to-right or right-to-left as you face the machine. Pick the direction above that suits your dish room layout.
