The Jackson AJX-66CE takes the AJX conveyor and adds a 22" pre-wash section up front, so heavily soiled racks get scrubbed before the main wash. It is a high temperature machine with electric tank heat and a 25" chamber, built for busy restaurants, nursing care facilities and correctional kitchens.
Running at its top speed of 6.20 feet per minute, it is rated for 225 racks per hour (5,625 dishes or 8,100 glasses). It uses 0.68 gallons per rack, roughly 153 gallons an hour. The pre-wash runs at 110-140°F, the wash at 160°F minimum and the final rinse at 180°F. A booster is not included, so plan for 180°F supply water or add the optional booster.
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- Pre-scraping built in. Two upper and one lower pre-wash arm, a 1.0 HP pump and a 17.25-gallon pre-wash tank take the worst of the soil off first.
- Room for big ware. A 25" vertical clearance handles sheet pans and mixing bowls.
- Speed you control. Adjust-A-Peak™ conveyor speed gives extra wash and rinse time on heavy-soil days.
- Idle savings. EnergyGuard™ controls run the machine only while a rack is in the wash or rinse, and the vent fan switches off at idle.
- Quick shutdown. An external drain lever, stainless scrap baskets and a self-draining wash pump make the nightly cleanup shorter.
Choosing your setup
Electrical: pick the voltage and phase above that match your service; 460V is listed as a factory option. Amperage figures were not in the Jackson data we had, so have your electrician size the circuit from the installation documents.
Booster: sold separately, in 40°F rise (17 kW) or 70°F rise (30 kW) versions.
Direction: the conveyor runs left-to-right or right-to-left as you face the machine. Pick the direction above that suits your dish room layout.
