Jackson AJX-44CE High Temp Conveyor Dishwasher, 225 Racks/Hr, 25" Chamber Clearance
The Jackson AJX-44CE is a no-frills rack conveyor for operations that have outgrown a door-type machine. It sanitizes with a 180°F final rinse and has electric tank heat and a tall 25" chamber. Restaurants, nursing care facilities and correctional kitchens are a natural fit.
At its top conveyor speed of 6.20 feet per minute it handles 225 racks per hour (5,625 dishes or 8,100 glasses), using 0.68 gallons of water per rack. The wash runs at 160°F minimum and the final rinse at 180°F. No booster comes standard, so it needs 180°F incoming water unless you add one.
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- Slow it down for tough soil. Adjust-A-Peak™ conveyor speed lets staff stretch wash and rinse contact time when loads come back heavily soiled.
- Big items fit. The 25" vertical clearance takes sheet pans and bowls that would not fit a door-type machine.
- Runs only when there is work. EnergyGuard™ controls operate the machine only while a rack is being washed or rinsed, and the vent fan shuts off at idle.
- Quiet and simple. A self-draining stainless steel wash pump keeps noise down, controls are electromechanical, and the tank fills automatically.
- Easy end-of-day cleanup. An externally operated drain lever, stainless scrap baskets and splash shields make closing faster.
Choosing your setup
Electrical: pick the voltage and phase above that match your service. A 460V version is listed as a factory option. Amperage figures were not in the Jackson data we had, so have your electrician size the circuit from the installation documents.
Booster: the booster heater is sold separately. Jackson offers a 17 kW unit with a 40°F rise or a 30 kW unit with a 70°F rise; without one, you must supply 180°F water.
Direction: the conveyor runs left-to-right or right-to-left as you face the machine. Pick the direction above that suits your dish room layout.

Before it arrives
- Have a licensed electrician install a dedicated circuit; a drain water tempering kit, if added, needs its own connection.
- Deliver water at 180°F (or add a booster) at 15 PSI to the 3/4" inlet. Keep the 1-1/2" drain full size with an air gap.
- Exhaust needs 200 CFM at the input end and 400 CFM at the output end, and the machine needs 84" of height with the doors open.
