Jackson AJ-86CE High Temp Conveyor Dishwasher, 287 Racks/Hr, 22" Prewash, Electric Tank Heat
Plates that come back with heavy scraps are where the Jackson AJ-86CE earns its place. Its 22" recirculating prewash knocks off food soil before the wash tank sees it. This electric-heat, high temperature conveyor suits nursing care facilities, correctional kitchens and high-volume restaurants.
Capacity runs up to 287 racks per hour on 0.77 gallons of fresh water per rack. Racks move through a 110–140°F prewash, 150°F wash and 160°F power rinse before a 180°F final rinse sanitizes them. The chamber is 25" tall. The booster heater for that rinse is not built in.
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- Scraps land in a basket, not the wash tank. Three prewash arms push heavy soil into a deep scrap basket at the front.
- More time for burnt-on food. Adjust-A-Peak™ slows the conveyor to as low as 144 racks per hour.
- Tall wares fit. Sheet pans and 60-quart mixing bowls pass through the 25" opening.
- Idle time costs less. EnergyGuard™ runs each section only while a rack is inside.
- Simple for any shift. Tanks fill themselves, and arms and strainers come out without tools.
Choosing your setup
Electrical: select the voltage and phase above that your kitchen is wired for. Below is Jackson's approximate total load; your electrician sizes the breaker. 460V three-phase (38.3 A) is a factory option.

Booster heater: sold separately. Options are a Hatco 36 KW (140°F incoming) or 45 KW (110°F incoming), three-phase only, or a steam booster.

Before it arrives
- Plan two water feeds: 110–140°F for the prewash and 180°F at 15–25 PSI for the rest, plus a 1-1/2" drain.
- A licensed electrician should install a dedicated circuit. Exhaust needs are 200 CFM at the input end and 400 CFM at the output end.
- Expect a 120" x 40" x 87" crate weighing 1,040 lb.
