If your building already runs a boiler, the Jackson AJ-64CS puts that steam to work heating its wash and power rinse tanks. This dual-tank, high temperature conveyor suits hospitals, nursing care and correctional kitchens that wash all day. It fits 64" between dishtables.
It moves up to 287 racks per hour using 0.77 gallons of fresh water per rack. After a 150°F wash and 160°F power rinse, a 180°F to 195°F final rinse sanitizes every rack. Clearance is 25" throughout. That rinse water must reach 180°F, so plan on a separate booster.
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- Steam never touches the wash water. Stainless coils, not injectors, heat the tanks, so boiler contaminants stay out of the wash.
- Match the speed to the soil. Adjust-A-Peak™ lets you set the conveyor from 144 up to 287 racks per hour, so heavy pans get extra contact time.
- Big wares go through. The 25" chamber clears sheet pans and 60-quart bowls.
- No idling between rushes. EnergyGuard™ runs each section only while a rack is inside and stops the conveyor once it is empty.
- Made to last. The frame, tanks and pumps are 304 stainless steel with no plastics, and the controls are electro-mechanical.
Choosing your setup
Electrical: choose the voltage and phase above that match your service; pumps, conveyor and controls are still electric. The sheet's amperage figures are not broken out for steam models, so your electrician should size the circuit from this machine's data plate. 460V three-phase is a factory option.
Direction: pick left-to-right or right-to-left rack travel (as you face the machine) above to suit your dish tables.
Booster heater: sold separately. Jackson's steam booster, sized for 140°F incoming water, is the natural partner; electric Hatco boosters are also offered.
