Jackson AJ-100CS High Temp Conveyor Dishwasher, 287 Racks/Hr, 36" Prewash, Steam Tank Heat
The Jackson AJ-100CS is the steam-heated version of Jackson's long-prewash AJ conveyor, aimed at facilities with boiler steam on hand and trays that come back heavily soiled. Think correctional kitchens, hospitals and nursing care facilities. A 36" prewash does the rough work before washing begins.
Throughput reaches 287 racks per hour on 0.77 gallons of fresh water per rack. Racks pass a 110–140°F prewash, 150°F wash and 160°F power rinse, then a fresh 180°F sanitizing rinse. The chamber clears 25". A booster is not included, so plan for one.
What you will notice in day-to-day use
- Clean heat from your boiler. Steam runs through stainless coils inside the wash and power rinse tanks, so it never enters the wash water.
- Prewash with real muscle. Five arms on a 2 HP pump clear heavy soil into a front scrap basket.
- Control the pace. Adjust-A-Peak™ lets operators run anywhere from 144 to 287 racks per hour depending on how dirty the load is.
- Low idle cost. EnergyGuard™ only runs the sections while a rack is passing through and stops the conveyor when nothing is inside.
- Rugged build. The frame, tanks and pumps are 304 stainless steel with no plastics, and the electro-mechanical controls use a single ON/OFF switch.
Choosing your setup
Electrical: pick the voltage and phase above to suit your service; pumps, conveyor and controls are electric. Amperages on the sheet are not broken out for steam models, so size the circuit from the machine's data plate. 460V three-phase is a factory option.
Direction: racks move left-to-right or right-to-left as you face the machine; choose above to suit your tables.
Booster heater: sold separately. The steam booster, sized for 140°F incoming water, suits this model; electric Hatco boosters are also offered.

Before it arrives
- Supply 10–20 PSIG flowing steam to the 3/4" connection; above 20 PSIG, fit a regulator (by others).
- Bring a 110–140°F prewash line, a 180°F line at 15–25 PSI and a 1-1/2" drain.
- Have a licensed electrician install a dedicated circuit; plan exhaust for 200 CFM (input end) and 400 CFM (output end).
- It ships at 1,150 lb; allow 100" between dishtables.
