Groen TDBC-20A 5 Gallon Steam Jacketed Kettle - 2/3 Jacket, Manual Tilt, Countertop

The steam behind the 5 gallons in the TDBC-20A is made on the machine, by element rather than by flame. Mounting is four bolts into a bench top, which is the whole of the mechanical installation. It replaces a rank of pots rather than a single one.

Groen jackets two thirds of the vessel, leaving the top of the wall cool enough to work over. The sheet gives 50 PSI as the maximum working pressure. One operator works the crank, and the mechanism holds its position when the handle is released. Heating stops above 12 degrees of tilt, by design rather than by the operator remembering.

Every exposed surface is 304 stainless in one welded piece, which is why cleaning is a wash rather than a strip-down. Groen finishes the inside to 180 emery grit. Groen lines the vessel in 304 stainless as standard. The control package is specified with the order as Classic, Advanced or Cook2Temp. The listings are UL, NSF and ASME.

It is offered for 208 V or 240 V, single or three phase service; choose the electrical option above. Fixing is into the counter, so a light table will not do. It works best sited where the pans it fills are already stacked.
