Dukers DCHPB24 24" Countertop Gas Hot Plate, 4 Lift-Off Burners, 32,000 BTU Each, 128,000 BTU

Four burners on a 24-inch countertop footprint give you most of a range top without the range. The Dukers DCHPB24 is a natural fit for sauce and soup stations, caterers setting up on a counter or stand, and kitchens adding capacity to an existing line.

Four 32,000 BTU/hr burners add up to 128,000 BTU/hr across a 23.82" x 23.62" work area. It measures 24" wide, 28-3/4" deep and 13-3/8" high, and weighs about 110 lb.

What you will notice in day-to-day use

• Four pots at full heat. Every burner is rated 32,000 BTU/hr, so all four can run hard at once.
• Independent control. Manual controls every 12" let you simmer on one side and boil on the other.
• Lift-off cast iron burners. They come out easily when something boils over, so cleanup is quick.
• Safer front edge. The cool-to-the-touch stainless steel front edge is easier on the cook reaching across.
• Built to stay clean. Stainless steel inside and out, a full-length seamless drip pan, and adjustable legs from 12-3/4" to 15-1/8".

Choosing your setup

Gas type: pick natural gas or LP above. Each unit leaves Dukers set for natural gas with an LP conversion kit in the box; ratings for both are in the table.

Before it arrives

• Gas: 3/4" NPT gas inlet. It ships set for natural gas with an LP conversion kit; have a qualified installer connect it and do any conversion.
• Ventilation: open burners belong under a commercial hood; follow your local code.
• Counter or stand: it is 24" wide and 28-3/4" deep; place it on a sturdy, non-combustible surface and keep the clearances in the installation manual.
