Dukers DCHPB12 12" Countertop Gas Hot Plate, 2 Lift-Off Burners, 32,000 BTU Each, 64,000 BTU

Sometimes you just need two more burners. The Dukers DCHPB12 is a compact countertop hot plate that adds a pair of high-output burners to a line, a catering station or a small kitchen that has no room for a full range.

Each burner is rated 32,000 BTU/hr, for 64,000 BTU/hr in total, over an 11.81" x 23.62" work area. The unit is just 12" wide, 28-3/4" deep and 13-3/8" high, and weighs about 66 lb.

What you will notice in day-to-day use

• Small footprint, real power. Two 32,000 BTU/hr burners in a 12"-wide unit bring a stockpot to a boil without taking over the counter.
• Burners that come out for cleaning. Lift-off cast iron burners make it easy to get at spills underneath.
• Ready when you need it. Standby pilots keep both burners ready to light.
• Kinder to the cook. A cool-to-the-touch stainless steel front edge is easier on arms and hands during service.
• Easy to keep tidy. A full-length seamless drip pan pulls out for cleaning, and adjustable stainless legs set the height from 12-3/4" to 15-1/8".

• Ventilation: open burners belong under a commercial hood; follow your local code.
• Counter or stand: it is 12" wide and 28-3/4" deep; place it on a sturdy, non-combustible surface and keep the clearances in the installation manual.
