Cambro RSB1419CW Camwear Rectangular Ribbed Serving Bowl, 12.0 qts., 19 3/8" x 14 1/4" — Case of 4

The Cambro RSB1419CW is a rectangular ribbed serving bowl molded from Camwear polycarbonate, holding about 12.0 qts. with outside dimensions of 19 3/8" x 14 1/4". The vertical ribbing gives the look of cut glass on the buffet line, but the bowl will not shatter like glass or chip like acrylic, and it shrugs off stains, odors and acidic dressings. Bowls nest for storage and run through commercial dishwashers. Choose Black or Clear above. Sold by the case of 4.

Glass Looks, Camwear Toughness

Rectangular Ribbed Bowls are injection-molded from Camwear polycarbonate, Cambro's clear, high-impact resin. The ribbed sidewall is molded in, not applied, so it catches light the way a pressed-glass bowl does while adding rigidity to the long sides. Polycarbonate is non-porous: it does not take on the color of beets or marinara, does not hold onion or garlic odors and is unaffected by vinegar and citrus. Three sizes (approximately 2.9, 5 and 12 quarts) cover individual salads up to large pasta and fruit displays.

The practical difference shows up over a season of banquets. A dropped glass bowl is a safety stop and a replacement cost; a dropped Camwear bowl is picked up and put back. The bowls are lightweight for staff to carry fully loaded, stack inside one another to save shelf space, and go straight into the dishwasher. The rectangular footprint lines up neatly on buffet tables, in display cases and on catering risers where round bowls waste space. NSF listed for commercial foodservice.
