Cambro ICS100L SlidingLid Ice Caddy, 100 lbs., Standard Height

The Cambro ICS100L is a SlidingLid ice caddy in the Standard Height style that holds 100 lbs. of ice and rolls on 5", 2 front swivel, 2 with brake, 2 rear fixed casters. The rotomolded shell is filled with thick CFC-free foam insulation, so ice keeps for days with no electrical connection, and the lid slides back and under the body during service so it never has to be set down on a floor or table. A recessed well with a drain shelf keeps the ice sitting above the melt water, and the unit measures 22 1/2" x 30 1/4" x 28 3/4" (W x D x H). Rotomolded Insulation Built for Outdoor Service

The caddy body is a one-piece rotomolded plastic shell with thick CFC-free foam insulation locked inside. There are no seams, metal panels or welds to fail, so the shell will not crack, dent, bubble or rust when it is left outside in the sun and rain. The sliding lid rides in a track and tucks back and under the body while the caddy is open, which keeps the lid off the ground and reduces the chance of cross-contamination between pours. Inside, a recessed well and a removable drain shelf hold the ice above the water that accumulates as it melts; the melt drains out through a valve at the base.

For an operator this means ice can be bagged into the caddy in the morning and still be usable at the end of a long outdoor event, with no power, no condenser and no ice machine nearby. The molded-in handles sit where a worker naturally grips the unit, and the caster packages (5", 2 front swivel, 2 with brake, 2 rear fixed on this model) are chosen for the load: swivel casters at the front for steering, fixed casters or large Easy Wheels at the rear for rolling across lawns, pavers and thresholds. Standard-height units are low enough to slide under prep tables and bar counters; Tall units raise the working height and increase capacity.
