Cambro DC700 Poker Chip Dish Caddy, 6 Columns, Plates to 7"

The Cambro DC700 is a non-adjustable poker chip style dish caddy with 6 divided columns for plates up to 7" in diameter, measuring 32 5/8" x 23 1/2" x 31 3/4" (W x L x H). The dividers are molded into the polyethylene body, so there is nothing to shift, loosen or lose, and each column holds up to 60 plates depending on whether the plates are footed. It rolls on 5" casters with brakes and 10" Easy Wheels, has ergonomic molded-in handles, and comes with a vinyl cover for sanitary storage. NSF listed. Choose Granite Gray, Dark Brown, Black or Slate Blue above.

Molded-In Poker Chip Dividers in a Roto-Molded Polyethylene Body

Cambro's non-adjustable dish caddies are roto-molded from polyethylene with the plate dividers formed into the body in a poker chip pattern: plates stand on edge in fixed-width columns and lean against the next plate, the way chips sit in a rack. Because the dividers are part of the shell they stay put through years of loading and cannot be misplaced. Corners are rounded inside and out so plates, door frames and walls are not scuffed, and the caddy is open on two sides so staff can load from the dish table and unload at the line without turning it. Each size is matched to a maximum plate diameter: DC575 (5 3/4") and DC700 (7") carry six columns in a 32 5/8" x 23 1/2" footprint; DC825 (8 1/4") carries four columns in 28 3/4" x 23 3/4"; DC1225 (12 1/4") carries four columns in 32 3/4" x 27 1/2". A column holds up to 60 plates depending on footed or non-footed style.

Polyethylene does not chip plates and does not chip itself, which is the practical advantage over metal dish dollies in a banquet or dishroom setting: plates ride edge-on against plastic, the caddy is quiet across tile and carpet, and the smooth surface wipes clean. Two 5" casters with brakes hold it at the station while 10" Easy Wheels let a full load roll over thresholds and ramps. The vinyl cover keeps clean plates covered during storage and travel so they do not need rewashing before service. Pick the caddy by your largest plate diameter in that pattern; because the dividers are fixed, a caddy sized for 8 1/4" plates will also hold smaller plates, but with more lean.
