The Cambro BR578 is a full size Camrack Base Rack: an open-compartment warewashing rack that takes pots, pans, bowls, utensils and other odd-shaped wares that do not fit a compartment rack. It stands 7 1/4" tall with a 6 1/2" inside clearance (w/ 2 extenders), stacks with any other full size Camrack or major-brand rack, and withstands wash temperatures to 200°F. Open Grid Inside, Closed Walls Outside

The base rack floor is an open grating that lets wash and rinse water flow through from every side and drains quickly, so wares dry fast instead of pooling. The outer walls, by contrast, are solid: they keep fingers, splashes and contaminants away from the contents and stop handles and rims from poking through and chipping. Taller versions are built up with molded extenders that lock onto the base to give the inside clearance listed above. Molded-in handles on each end let staff lift a full rack comfortably, and a smooth top rim lets racks stack squarely on each other, including racks from other manufacturers, so you can phase Camracks into an existing system one rack at a time.

The rack is molded from chemical-resistant, dishwasher-safe plastic rated to 200°F, so it tolerates detergents, sanitizers and heated final rinses for years. Put a Camrack cover on top and the rack on a Camdolly and the stack is fully enclosed: wares washed once stay clean in storage, cutting rewashing and the labor that goes with it. Nine stock colors let you code racks by station, item type or outlet so a glance tells staff what is inside. The rack is NSF listed and can be hot-stamped with your name or location.
