The Cambro 8SFSPP is a 8 qt. CamSquares Classic Translucent food storage container, molded from see-through polypropylene with Winter Rose graduations and measuring 8 3/8" x 8 3/8" x 9 1/8" with its cover on. The square body stores about a third more product per shelf than a round container of the same capacity, and the translucent wall lets staff check contents and levels without opening the lid. Translucent Polypropylene: See the Level, Save the Shelf

CamSquares Classic Translucent containers are molded from polypropylene into a straight-sided square with a flat rim sized for Cambro's snap-on CamSquare covers. The resin is rated from -40°F to 185°F (-40°C to 85°C), so one container can go from the freezer to the walk-in to a warm prep area, and it shrugs off the acids, stains and odors that build up in heavily used storage. Capacity graduations in quarts and liters are molded into the wall and color-coded by size (Cambro notes they are approximate), and the 12 qt. and larger sizes carry handles molded into the body for a safe two-hand lift and faster drip-drying when inverted on a rack. Sizes run from 2 qt. to 22 qt., all NSF listed and dishwasher safe.

For an operator the difference shows up in the cooler and at inventory time. Square containers nest side by side with no dead space, which Cambro rates as 33% better space usage than round containers, and the translucent wall plus molded graduations lets a cook read how much mirepoix, stock or marinade is left from the doorway. Snapping on a CamSquare cover closes the container against drips and cross-contamination between shelves. The polypropylene body costs less than Cambro's polycarbonate Camwear line while still delivering the durability that has kept the Translucent CamSquare a kitchen standard for decades, and personalization is available on every size.
