The Cambro 8HC414 is a half size, 8 compartment Camrack Cup Rack for washing, transporting and storing coffee mugs, cups and small bowls. Each compartment is tilted so water drains off the recessed base of an upturned mug instead of pooling, and takes cups up to 4 1/4" tall and 4 1/8" across including the handle. The rack is molded in Soft Gray, stacks with other Camracks and major-brand racks of the same size, and is dishwasher safe to 200°F. Sold by the full case of 5.

Tilted Compartments That Drain Mug Bases

Mugs are the hardest item in a dish room to dry: inverted, the recessed foot holds a ring of rinse water that stays wet and spots. The Cup Rack's compartments are angled so each mug sits on a slope and the water runs off the base, then the open compartment walls let air and wash water circulate from every side for quick, sanitary drying. The outer walls are fully closed, keeping fingers, pests and splashes away from clean cups and stopping handles from poking out and chipping. Molded-in handles on each end make a full rack easy to lift, and the smooth top rim stacks squarely on other Camracks or on racks from other manufacturers.

The rack is molded from chemical-resistant, dishwasher-safe plastic rated to 200°F, so detergents, sanitizers and heated rinse cycles do not degrade it. Add a Camrack cover and set the rack on a Camdolly and the stack is completely enclosed: cups washed once stay clean through storage and transport, so there is no rewashing before service. Full size racks hold 16 or 20 cups per level; half size racks hold 8 or 10 and suit undercounter glasswashers and tight back bars. The rack is NSF listed and can be hot-stamped or labeled with Extender ID Clips for inventory control.
