Cambro 200MCH High Heat Measuring Cup, 2 qt., Amber, 375°F Rated

The Cambro 200MCH is a 2 qt. High Heat Measuring Cup molded from BPA-free, heat-tolerant plastic rated for -40°F to 375°F (-40°C to 190°C). It is safe in microwaves and ovens and built for the hot jobs a standard plastic measure cannot handle: drawing coffee or hot water from a dispenser, filling chafers and steam tables, draining hot oil from a fryer, or portioning soup, broth and stew from a kettle. Dual US standard and metric graduations and a translucent amber body make reading levels quick.

Heat-Tolerant Plastic That Replaces Glass

Most plastic measuring cups soften or warp well below the temperatures found at a fryer or kettle. The High Heat cup is molded from a heat-tolerant resin that holds its shape and performance up to 375°F (190°C), so it can go into a microwave or oven and handle boiling liquids and hot oil without deforming. The integrated handle stays cool to the touch, and the cup is rated down to -40°F for cold use as well. It is NSF listed and safe in high-heat commercial dishwashers.

Compared with a glass measure, the High Heat cup is about 75 percent lighter, will not shatter if dropped, and will not bend or dent like metal. Graduations in both US standard and metric units are molded in, and the translucent amber color lets staff check the level and contents at a glance. The optional Universal Splatter-Proof Cover (MCCH, sold separately) fits both the 2 qt. and 4 qt. cups; it is self-venting and shields the user and surfaces from hot splashes during transport and microwave heating.
