The Cambro 18263P is a full size Poly Food Storage Box holding 5.0 gal. and measuring 18" x 26" x 3 1/2". Molded from economical, impact-resistant white polyethylene, it is built to take bulk product out of cardboard at the receiving door and keep it covered, stacked and off the floor through dry storage, the walk-in and the freezer. Molded-in handles give a secure two-handed lift, the box stacks with others of the same footprint, and it is rated for -40°F to 160°F. Dishwasher safe, NSF listed and covered by Cambro's 2-year pro-rated warranty. Matching Poly Flat Lid sold separately.

Impact-Resistant Poly for Receiving-to-Prep Storage

Each box is a one-piece polyethylene molding with a reinforced rim and handles molded into the ends, so there are no seams to split and nothing to come loose. The white material is impact resistant for everyday drops and cart bumps, stain resistant against sauces and spices, and unaffected by commercial dishwasher chemicals; its working range of -40°F to 160°F covers freezer, cooler and ambient storage. The two footprints are standard Cambro food box sizes: half size 12" x 18" and full size 18" x 26", in depths from 3 1/2" to 15" that span 1.75 to 22 gallons.

The main job of a Poly Food Box is breaking the chain of contamination between the loading dock and the line. Moving product out of shipping cartons and into a washable box as soon as it arrives keeps cardboard dust and pests out of storage, and a snap-on Poly Flat Lid (1218CP for half size, 1826CP for full size) seals the contents so boxes stack several high without touching food. Empty boxes nest to save space, and the uniform footprints work with Cambro's food box drain shelves, Camwear and translucent lids, and dunnage racks.
