Camtread trays are molded from fiberglass-reinforced resin, which keeps the tray flat and rigid under a load of dinner plates and resists the chipping, staining and warping that shorten the life of lighter plastic trays. The textured non-skid surface is a thick rubber layer bonded to the fiberglass, not a sprayed coating, so it does not wear thin, peel or wash off in high-temperature dishwashers. Stacking lugs under the rim hold nested trays slightly apart so a wet stack drains and air-dries hygienically.
