American Range ARSM-36 36" Infrared Gas Salamander Broiler, Single Control, 36,000 BTU

The American Range ARSM-36 is a 36-inch gas salamander broiler with one infrared burner totaling 36,000 BTU/hr. It finishes, melts and browns quickly above a range or on a wall, and runs on natural gas or liquid propane; select the gas type above.

Infrared Broiling

Infrared burners heat instantly and broil from above with intense, even radiant heat. The cooking grate adjusts to four levels and rolls out for loading and unloading, and a large grease tray catches drippings.

Installation & Utility Requirements

Connect to the gas supply with the inlet size shown above. Manifold pressure is 5.0" W.C. on natural gas and 10.0" W.C. on propane (the countertop griddles use 4.0" W.C. on natural gas through the supplied regulator, which must be installed). Specify the gas type, and the altitude if above 2,000 feet; have a qualified technician make the connection and check pressures at start-up.

For use only on non-combustible floors; clearance from non-combustible walls is 0 inches. Radiant broilers are for non-combustible locations only. Standard mounting on larger ranges is on the left side. Install under a ventilation hood per NFPA 96 and local codes. If the unit sits on a stand with casters, use a flexible gas connector with a restraining device.
