Yanco Bamboo & Wood Collection

This collection currently holds a single item: the Yanco WS-113 sushi boat, a bamboo and wood serving vessel measuring 13.25" long by 5.75" wide by 2.25" deep, in a natural tan finish, packed 12 to a case. If you are here for a range, you are in the wrong place — see the links below. If you are here for that one piece, everything worth knowing about it is on this page.

What the WS-113 is for

The boat shape is a shared-platter format. At 13.25" it holds a multi-piece sushi order for two comfortably, and the 2.25" depth means garnish, ginger and a sauce dish can sit inside the piece rather than crowding the table around it. One thing to settle before you order: this is real wood rather than a molded look-alike, and unlike the melamine and plastic lines in the Yanco catalog its listing carries no dishwasher-safe rating. Confirm the wash routine with us if the piece is going into a high-turn service. A case of 12 suits a counter running it as a feature presentation rather than a default plate.

Where the rest of the bamboo look lives

The warm bamboo appearance in a material that does survive the dish machine is the Yanco Bamboo Style collection, which carries 40 melamine pieces in a bamboo-look finish — plates, bowls, trays and serving pieces. The WS-113 on this page is also listed there, so Bamboo Style is the better starting point for anyone specifying a full service. This page exists for buyers searching for the wooden boat specifically.

Start with the Bamboo Style collection for the wider bamboo-look program, or the Japanese collection for melamine sushi and noodle shapes that pair with a wooden boat on the same table. The full Yanco range covers everything else. To check current availability on the WS-113, email sales@nishienterprise.com or call (732) 790-0199.
