Stainless Steel Stock Pots
Stainless steel stock pots for restaurants, caterers and serious home cooks, from 4-1/2 quarts to 83 quarts. Every pot here is a commercial-grade piece from Winco or CAC China: 18/8 stainless bodies, tri-ply or sandwich bottoms with an aluminum core for even heat, welded or riveted handles and NSF listing. Stainless is the choice when you cook acidic foods — tomato sauces, wine reductions, tamarind, lemon — that discolor aluminum, when you want a pot that goes in the dishwasher, or when your range is induction. Most models ship with a matching cover.
How to choose a stainless steel stock pot
- Winco SST series (8–80 qt): 18/8 stainless with a 5 mm aluminum-core sandwich bottom, welded handles, cover included, induction ready. The best value in a big stainless pot.
- Winco TRI-GEN TGSP (4-1/2–20 qt): full tri-ply body (stainless over an aluminum core all the way up the walls), mirror exterior, riveted handles, cover included, dishwasher safe. Pick these for sauces and small batches where even side-wall heat matters.
- CAC China STKP (8–83 qt): straightforward stainless stock pots with lids, priced for daily restaurant use.
