Yanco PS-2012 Piscataway Chinaware 12" x 8-1/2" 3-Compartment Plate, Bone White — Case of 12 (1 dz)

A rectangular three-compartment plate measuring 12" by 8-1/2", with shallow 3/4" wells. Compartment plates keep the functional name and the plate noun at every size under the owner's rule, so the twelve inch length is not a reason to rename it.

Three divisions suit the standard plate-lunch layout of a main and two sides, with more room in each well than the four-compartment version offers on a smaller body. The moulded walls stand high enough to stop gravy crossing into a salad. Twelve by eight and a half is also the size that drops into standard cafeteria tray recesses without rocking.
