A 9-1/2 by 4 inch sushi plate, the proportion a six-piece roll wants, laid out in a line with room at one end for a condiment. Narrow enough that two sit side by side on a bar counter, long enough that the row of food is not crowded at either end.

Cases hold two dozen. The one inch wall keeps a dislodged morsel on board, and the flat field has no well or ridge to interrupt the line of the food. Melamine is the material of choice at a sushi bar because a china body this long and this narrow snaps when it catches the edge of a counter. White, dishwasher safe.
