The OC-5105 is a skillet bowl: a short straight-walled vessel shaped after a cast-iron pan and used in much the same way. Four and three-quarter inches across and three tall, it takes twenty-two ounces, which covers a full serving of onion soup under its cheese crust, a baked egg dish, or a hot dessert.

Three inches of wall is what turns a four-and-three-quarter-inch footprint into that much capacity; the proportions sit closer to a mug than to a bowl. Yanco built the OC-5112 compartment plate as the matching base for it, so the two are usually bought together. Twenty-four come in a carton.
