At twelve and a quarter inches with a one-and-a-half-inch sweep, this is the deepest of the four coupe rounds, and the curve runs far enough to hold a saucy main or a shallow pasta without anyone reaching for a bowl. Some kitchens use it exactly that way, as the crossover between plate and bowl service. Matched against the rimmed 112 at the same diameter, the coupe gives up a flat border and gains usable surface.
