Yanco NB-112 Noble Black Chinaware 12-1/4" x 1-3/8" Round Plate With Upright Rim, Black — Case of 12 (1 dz)

Two inches of extra diameter over the 110 turns this into a presentation round rather than an everyday cover plate. Its wall rises to about one and three-eighths inches, the tallest rim in the upright-rim group, which lets it carry a composed main with a generous moat of empty black around the food. Kitchens tend to hold these back for tasting menus and plated banquet courses instead of putting them into general rotation.

A dozen to the case reflects that. The unglossed surface takes overhead lighting without throwing hot spots into a photograph.
