Yanco MR-214 Mars Chinaware 13-5/8" x 7-7/8" x 7/8" Coupe Oval Platter, White and Blue — Case of 12 (1 dz)

The MR-214 is the long narrow coupe — 13-5/8 inches end to end on a 7-7/8 inch waist, with no rim at all. The glaze runs in one unbroken curve from lip to centre and the blue band sits right at the edge, so the shape reads as a single stroke across the table.

That proportion is built for linear plating: a fillet with its garnish trailing behind it, three tasting portions in a row, or bread service down a long table. It shares its short-axis width exactly with the much shorter MR-210, so the two line up when both are running.
