Yanco MI-504 Misty Melamine 4-1/2" x 2-1/4" Rice Bowl 10 oz, Charcoal and Brown — Case of 48 (4 dz)

The MI-504 is the Misty rice bowl: 4-1/2 inches across, 2-1/4 inches tall, holding 10 ounces. The tall, narrow proportion is the traditional one, meant to be picked up, and the height keeps steamed rice warm longer than a wide vessel of the same volume would.

It is what a pan-Asian room puts down with every cover, which is why it ships four dozen to a case. The diameter rather than the height sets its place in the size facet, so it files alongside the other 5 inch pieces. Melamine keeps the outside wall cool enough to hold straight from the warmer, and the moulded speckle grips slightly better than a glazed exterior.
