Yanco MI-409 Misty Melamine 9" x 1-1/2" Salad Bowl 25 oz, Charcoal and Brown — Case of 36 (3 dz)

The MI-409 closes out the Misty salad bowls at 9 inches across and 1-1/2 inches deep, holding 25 ounces. Yanco lists the mould for salad or soup; it is written here as a salad bowl, which is the reading the title and the catalogue entry share.

The extra quarter inch of depth over the MI-407 and MI-408 is what makes the second use plausible, since a brothy noodle salad or a thick chowder sits in it without reaching the rim. Three dozen to a case matches the MI-408, so a kitchen running both sizes replaces them on one cycle. Melamine will not craze where an acidic dressing sits overnight.
