Yanco CAT-2024B Catering Melamine 24" x 10" Oval Platter, Black — Case of 6

Two feet long and ten inches across, this black oval platter is cut long and narrow on purpose. It runs down the length of a buffet rather than across it, leaving the table's depth free for bowls and risers behind.

The one-inch rim is low enough that food reads as a continuous line from the end of the table. Black is the usual choice for seafood, sushi, sliced meats and cheese boards, where a dark ground sharpens pale colours. The melamine body weighs a fraction of a stone or slate board of the same length and will not crack if a corner catches a doorframe in transit.
