Yanco BR-2 Brown Speckled Chinaware 5-1/2" Saucer Royal, American White — Case of 36 (3 dz)

The BR-2 is the Royal-shape saucer, 5-1/2 inches across and just 7/8 of an inch from table to rim. Its job is defined entirely by what sits on it, and the shallow profile is deliberate: enough of a well to stop a cup travelling when a tray tilts, not so much that a spoon has to be fished out of a trough.

A saucer is also the item of inventory a dining room notices when it runs short and never otherwise, so the 36-count case is sized for replacement rather than for a one-time fit-out. Served alongside the BR-1 tall cup it completes the two-piece beverage setting; carried on its own it works as an under-liner for the BR-4 bouillon cup, which measures four inches across and drops comfortably inside the saucer's footprint.
