Nine inches across with a one-inch rise. This is the luncheon round, the plate that goes out when a dinner plate would look oversized under the portion and a seven-and-a-half would look crowded.

Abco runs a close ladder through this part of the range, and the differences are small but deliberate: the coupe at nine inches has no rim, the nine-and-a-half rimmed version adds half an inch of reach. This one keeps the rim, which gives a server somewhere to put a thumb and gives the kitchen a border to plate against. Twenty-four to the case.
