Eight inches across and three inches deep, the WL-508 holds forty-five ounces, nineteen more than the WL-507, which makes it a noodle bowl rather than a salad bowl: ramen with broth over the noodles, pho, a laksa, a family-style portion of fried rice.

The steep wall is what distinguishes it from the shallower Woodland bowls, giving the depth that soup noodles need while keeping the diameter manageable on a crowded table.
