Waring WPG150T Panini Perfetto Compact Panini Grill with Timer, 9.75 x 9.25 in Ribbed Cast Iron, 120V
The Waring WPG150T pairs the compact Panini Perfetto grill with a built-in reprogrammable countdown timer. Its 9.75" x 9.25" ribbed cast-iron surface handles made-to-order sandwiches one or two at a time, and it runs on 120V power. The timer is what sets it apart: staff press a button and the grill tells them when the sandwich is done.
Ribbed Cast-Iron Plates With an Auto-Balancing Top
Both cooking plates are heavy cast iron with raised ribs. Cast iron stores a deep reserve of heat, so the surface holds its temperature when a cold sandwich or raw chicken breast goes down, and the ribs press defined grill marks while lifting the food just enough for fat and moisture to run off rather than soak into the bread. With heat coming from above and below at the same time, sandwiches and proteins finish faster than they would on a flat-top with a spatula and a weight.
The hinged top plate is auto-balancing, so it settles level on whatever is underneath, from a thin quesadilla to a stacked sandwich up to 3" thick, and applies even pressure across the whole item. Grease and crumbs drain to a removable drip tray, and the brushed stainless steel body wipes clean quickly at close.
Why Operators Choose It
- Built-in timer: reprogrammable countdown with an audible alert when time is up
- Consistent results: a standard press time per item means every sandwich comes out the same
- Less waste: the alert helps prevent overcooked or burnt product during a rush
- Compact footprint: sized for coffee bars, kiosks and small counters
- Ribbed cast iron: even heat and authentic grill marks
- Even pressure: auto-balancing top plate fits food up to 3" thick
- Easy cleanup: removable drip tray and brushed stainless steel body
Controls
An adjustable thermostat reaches up to 570°F, with Power ON and READY lights so staff know when the plates are at temperature. This timer version adds Waring's reprogrammable countdown timer, which sounds an audible alert when time expires. Setting a standard press time for each sandwich keeps results consistent from cook to cook and cuts down on burnt or underdone product when the line gets busy.
Ideal For
- Coffee shops where baristas also press sandwiches
- Front-of-house stations staffed by rotating crews
- Small delis and bakery cafes
- Hotel lobby markets and grab-and-go counters
