The Waring WPG150 Panini Perfetto is a compact Italian-style panini grill with a 9.75" x 9.25" ribbed cast-iron cooking surface. At about 11.5" wide it fits counters where a full-size grill will not, yet it delivers the same cast-iron plates and 570°F thermostat as Waring's larger models. It runs on 120V power with a standard NEMA 5-15P plug.
Ribbed Cast-Iron Plates With an Auto-Balancing Top
Both cooking plates are heavy cast iron with raised ribs. Cast iron stores a deep reserve of heat, so the surface holds its temperature when a cold sandwich or raw chicken breast goes down, and the ribs press defined grill marks while lifting the food just enough for fat and moisture to run off rather than soak into the bread. With heat coming from above and below at the same time, sandwiches and proteins finish faster than they would on a flat-top with a spatula and a weight.
The hinged top plate is auto-balancing, so it settles level on whatever is underneath, from a thin quesadilla to a stacked sandwich up to 3" thick, and applies even pressure across the whole item. Grease and crumbs drain to a removable drip tray, and the brushed stainless steel body wipes clean quickly at close.
Why Operators Choose It
- Small footprint: roughly 11.5" W x 15.5" D, ideal for coffee bars and crowded front counters
- Real grill marks: ribbed cast-iron plates sear defined lines on panini, chicken and vegetables
- Even pressure: hinged, auto-balancing top plate adapts to foods up to 3" thick
- Wide temperature range: adjustable thermostat to 570°F
- Safe handling: heat-resistant handles; no mitts required
- Easy cleanup: removable drip tray and brushed stainless steel body
- Standard outlet: 120V, 15 A with a NEMA 5-15P plug
Controls
Control is simple: an adjustable thermostat reaches up to 570°F for anything from a gentle melt to a hard sear, and Power ON and READY indicator lights show at a glance when the plates are hot enough to load. If you want a built-in countdown timer, Waring offers timer versions of its panini grills.
Ideal For
- Coffee shops adding a short hot sandwich menu
- Bars and wine bars serving pressed sandwiches as bar food
- Small delis and kiosks with limited counter depth
- Office pantries, break rooms and campus cafes
- Back-up or overflow grill beside a larger unit
