The Waring WCO250X is a quarter-size countertop convection oven that brings convection bake, conventional bake, roast and broil into one compact, heavy-duty stainless steel cabinet. Its 0.9 cubic foot cavity takes up to three quarter-size sheet pans, and it runs on standard 120V power at 1700 watts with a NEMA 5-15P plug, so it can go almost anywhere there is counter space and an outlet.
Four Cooking Modes in a Compact Convection Cavity
A fan-driven airflow system moves heated air around the food so that pans on every rack see similar temperatures. In practice that means more even browning across a tray of cookies or croissants, shorter bake times than a still oven, and less need to rotate pans halfway through. When you want gentler, top-and-bottom heat for custards or delicate pastries, switch to conventional bake; for melting cheese, toasting crumb toppings or finishing a gratin, use the broil setting.
The thermostat covers 150°F to 500°F, wide enough to hold or proof at the low end and to roast or crisp at the top. A double-pane tempered glass door lets staff check doneness without opening the oven and dumping heat, and the full stainless steel interior wipes down quickly at the end of a shift.
Why Operators Choose It
- Small footprint, real capacity: about 22" wide, fitting up to three quarter-size sheet pans in a 0.9 cu ft cavity
- Four methods in one: convection bake, bake, roast and broil cover pastries, proteins, pizza, pies and finishing work
- Plug-and-go power: 120V, 1700 W, 14 A on a standard NEMA 5-15P cord, no hard wiring or 208/240V circuit needed
- Even results: convection airflow reduces hot spots and helps multi-rack loads finish together
- Visible cooking: double-pane tempered glass door keeps heat in while staff monitor the load
- Built for daily use: heavy-duty brushed stainless steel exterior and full stainless interior that cleans up easily
- Ready to bake: ships with two baking racks and a stainless steel baking sheet/drip pan
Controls
Manual controls select the cooking function and set the temperature anywhere from 150°F to 500°F. Simple analog controls are quick to learn for rotating staff and hold up well in a busy prep area.
